If I renovate my home, do I have to hire everyone of can I just hire one contractor?
If you hire American Drywall we will do all phases of the project. All our subcontractors are licensed and insured and have been in business for over 25 years. We handle it all, just give us a call!
Do I need permits for my renovations or can I just do it?
Most of the time you do need a permit. All towns are different, the best thing to do is talk to the local building department for information. Permits are there to protect homeowners
Do I pay the contractor half before he does any work?
No. The contractor should give you a schedule of payments explaining amounts, time frame and what the payments are for. This way there are no surprises!
Should I select my cabinets, appliances or bathroom fixtures prior to the start of the renovation?
Yes. All long lead items should be locked in prior to the start of your project.
This will reduce the time if takes for completion.
